Tokyo Drift 555 was founded by husband-and-wife team Gaku and Christy, the creators of Yopparai, the beloved Japanese restaurant in Manhattan.
After moving to Sullivan County in 2021, they began sharing Japanese cuisine through local pop-ups and the Barryville Farmers Market, where their sushi quickly gained a loyal following.
Located at 555 State Route 55, Tokyo Drift 555 brings together authentic Japanese food, Tokyo sensibilities, and the playful spirit of Japanese car culture. Inspired by the property’s history as an auto service station, the space features garage-inspired design, antique Japanese cars, and our mascot, Go-kun.
Guests can enjoy two distinct experiences: refined sushi, grill, and omakase dining in the main restaurant, or casual ramen, rice bowls, onigiri sandwiches, drinks, and takeout at GoGo Garage.
Rooted in Japanese hospitality and connected to the local community, Tokyo Drift 555 is a place to gather, celebrate, and experience Japanese food and culture in the Catskills.
We look forward to welcoming you soon.
